Sterling Caustic Soda is a powerful and versatile cleaning agent, especially suited for demanding cleaning tasks in both domestic and professional environments. Applications:

Sterling Caustic Soda is suitable for:

  • Removal of paint and varnish
  • Thorough cleaning of floors and ceilings
  • Tasks requiring an extra-strong cleaning solution

Instructions for use – Removal of paint and varnish:

  1. Mix 750 g of caustic soda with 4 liters of hot water.
  2. Gradually add wallpaper paste until a suitable, spreadable consistency is achieved.
  3. To prevent the mixture from solidifying, add 2–3 squirts of dish soap or 2 caps of Sterling Liquid Brown Soap.
  4. Apply the mixture to the surface and let it work.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
  6. To neutralize, mix 0.5 liters of vinegar (35%) with 40 liters of water and use as a final rinse.

Important:

  • Do not use on hardwood, as it may cause damage.
  • Do not mix or store in plastic or aluminum containers, as these may be damaged.
  • Always wear protective equipment (gloves and goggles), as the product is corrosive.
